What does it mean to be Depressed? We all experience life’s ups and downs but in this Episode Chris explains that full blown Depression is like experiencing a major grief reaction that just doesn’t get better.  It can go on for months if not longer.

Chris also talks about the symptoms of Depression which include low motivation, low energy, poor appetite, poor sleep, low sex drive, and the number #1 enemy of Depression, isolation!

Finally he explains why suicide is such a risk factor for the Depressed person and he tells us why admitting you are Depressed is a sign of courage and not weakness!

    Winston Churchill said that when you are going through Hell, keep going. My Mom, after a lifetime of living and seeing her loved ones pass, two husbands, even a son, had a wise reflection. I asked her what do you do when life hands you tragedies? She said keep going, keep living.

    1. absolutely, yeah, Winston Churchill was amazing…. I would encourage anyone who is having a bad day to watch in succession: Dunkirk and then The Darkest Hour…. that is where I got his quote.
