Episode #2 – The Elusive Mental Health Goal of Contentment

Contentment is defined as “a state of happiness and satisfaction”.  Are you reaching for it, looking external?  You won’t find it. Contentment starts within, then others will see it in you.  In this show we discuss the tenets of cognitive therapy and the importance of having a focus point. We also discuss Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and some of the disruptions that tend to prevent contentment such as biological factors, trauma events, and social media.

  1. I met chris for the first time today, he referred me to his pod cast. Three episodes in #17,8, and 2, i really appreciate the insight. I feel blessed to have him for support and solutions, and focusing on ways to fix my life, thanks chris
